For online conform and 8K work, a Mac Studio M2 Ultra with 128GB RAM is the sweet spot. Both are available for short-term shoot-schedule rental from our Mumbai and Hyderabad hubs.
Can I rent calibrated reference monitors with the MacBook?
Yes. Apple Pro Display XDR, Eizo ColorEdge CG279X and BenQ PV270 with hardware calibration are available as add-ons. Calibration is performed before despatch and a calibration certificate is included. Re-calibration mid-shoot can be scheduled on request.
Do you supply on-location laptops to shoot floors in Mumbai Film City or Hyderabad Ramoji?
Yes. Same-day delivery to Film City Goregaon, Madh Island, Yash Raj Studios, Ramoji Film City, Annapurna Studios, AVM Studios and Kodambakkam shoot sets. We also support outdoor unit shoots in Goa, Manali, Rajasthan and Kerala with logistics handled end-to-end.
Are software licences (Resolve Studio, Premiere, Pro Tools) included?
We supply hardware. For DaVinci Resolve Studio, you bring your USB dongle or activation key. For Adobe Creative Cloud and Avid, your team licence travels with the user (signed in on the rental). For Pro Tools, we support both subscription and iLok-based licensing on the rental.
What is your shortest rental tenure for shoot floor laptops?
Daily and weekly rates are available for short shoots (e.g., a 3-day ad shoot or 7-day music video). Monthly rates apply for series and features. Standard minimum is 1 day for short-term hire and 30 days for editorial / colour suite rentals.
Can I extend or renew the rental if my shoot schedule slips?
Yes — extensions are common in production. Notify us 5 days before the original return date and we extend at the same rental rate. We rarely re-allocate units mid-shoot and will work with your line producer to align with the actual schedule.
