Can Techvity deliver event laptops on the same day in Bangalore?
Yes. For Bangalore venues (Palace Grounds, BIEC, KTPO, ITC Gardenia, Sheraton, Conrad, Leela Palace) we deliver same-day if you confirm before 11 AM, with onsite setup completed at least 2 hours before your session start. For 50+ unit events we recommend 2 days lead time for imaging and quality checks.
Do you provide onsite engineer support during the event?
Yes. For events with 25+ devices or live-stream / keynote needs, we deploy onsite engineers (one per 50 units) for the duration. They handle setup, troubleshooting, cable management and tear-down — ensuring zero downtime during your show hours.
What projector lumens do I need for a 500-pax conference hall?
For ambient-lit halls of 500-pax, we recommend 5,000-7,000 ANSI lumens (Epson EB-PU2010W, BenQ LU960). For darkened halls of similar size, 4,000-5,000 lumens suffice. For 1,000+ pax convocations or AGMs, we deploy 10,000+ lumen Christie / Barco units. Request a venue-specific recommendation.
Are you covered for venue insurance and liability at hotel ballrooms?
Yes. Techvity carries equipment and third-party liability insurance valid at all major Indian convention venues. We also provide venue NOC documentation, GST invoice, and KYC of our engineers (mandatory at most 5-star hotel ballrooms and government venues like Pragati Maidan).
What is the cancellation policy for an event rental?
Cancellation is free up to 5 working days before the event. Within 5-2 days, 50% of the rental is charged. Within 48 hours, 100% is charged due to allocation lock-in. Date-shifts (rather than cancellations) are accommodated free of charge subject to inventory availability.
Can I rent a complete hackathon kit (laptops + monitors + projectors) under one PO?
Yes. Hackathon packs are our most-requested SKU — 50/100/200 laptop pool + 4-6 projectors + breakout-room monitors + registration desk laptops + live-stream encoder + presenters and dongles, on a single PO and single GST invoice (HSN 997315). Standard turn-around: 5-7 days from PO.
